Homeopathic Remedies For Internal Hemorrhoids

Homeopathic Remedies For Internal Hemorrhoids:

Hemorrhoids are some swellings of the veins of the anal area, extremely painful and disturbing. An estimated 75 percent of people will have hemorrhoids at some point during their lives.

Therefore, it is important to know the natural remedies that prevent and help treat this affection. They are called varicose of the rectal veins.

This affection can manifest in two forms, external, outside of the anus, and internal, which is located inside the anal canal. Regardless of the form, patients have abnormal sensations in the anus, such as:

  • itching;
  • discomfort;
  • severe pain;
  • soft purple bumps around the anus;
  • bleeding, which can lead to anemia.

What is the cause?

Constipation is the main cause of the occurrence of hemorrhoids, but among the favoring factors, we can also include: alcohol excess, stress, diabetes, obesity, aging, and pregnancy (the pressure of the fetus in the abdomen and hormonal changes leads to an enlargement of the hemorrhoid vessels, but in this case, they tend to disappear).

Note – according to statistics, more than 4 million people in the US have frequent constipation.

Also, food is another factor in the occurrence of anal venous dilatations frequently. Therefore, we must avoid spicy foods, sausage, mustard, ketchup, pepper, saturated fats, and alcohol.

The diet must rely more on fruits and vegetables because they are rich in fibers that speed digestion. People suffering from this affection must follow this diet for at least one year, even after the inflammation disappears.

Home and natural remedies to cure internal hemorrhoids

Wheat Bran

In 2 liters of boiling water, add two handfuls of bran. Then let it cool and strain.

Place the liquid into a bowl and wash the anal area for 5-10 minutes, every morning and evening. After the bath, massage the area with calendula cream.

Combination of chamomile and knotweed

For both internal and hemorrhoids, it is recommended yarrow, chamomile, common knotgrass, Common Comfrey, and marshmallow. Mix the plants, then infuse one teaspoon of this mixture with 250 ml of hot water.

Drink three cups of tea a day 20 minutes before the main meals. The tea should be drunk daily for at least a month.

Ricin oil

It is recommended to massage the hemorrhoid area for 5 minutes, after proper hygiene, with ricin oil (daily, for one month).

Blueberries decoct

Douches or blueberries decoct compresses are another effective natural remedy against external hemorrhoids.

Apply the compresses directly on the hemorrhoids and clean the area gently several times a day until the withdrawn of hemorrhoids.

Turmeric powder with a splash of olive oil

Apply on the inflamed area a little warm olive oil with turmeric powder; it relieves pain and inflammation.

Carrots

Vibrant orange carrots are a healthy addition to your regular diet. Eating raw carrots, in considerable quantities every day, helps cure hemorrhoids.

Besides carrots, we can drink a decoction of patience dock (boil for 10-15 minutes a tablespoon of dry patience dock for 200 ml of water).

Clay

An excellent remedy for external hemorrhoids is clay poultices. Mix a handful of clay with warm water until it forms a creamy paste. Then, apply the paste to the sore area and leave it for about two hours.

To obtain faster results in the shortest time (maximum one month), clay poultices should be applied daily. In milder cases, it can be applied every three days.

Cabbage can also be used as poultices. Crush a cabbage leaf with the rolling pin or with glass and apply it to the inflamed area. Both cures (clay and cabbage) should last two months.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Put a little apple cider vinegar on a cotton swab or a cotton pad and apply it on the affected area, daily, until the inflammation goes away.

Aloe Vera

The leaves of aloe vera have an important therapeutic role in curing hemorrhoids. Boil a few leaves in water. Let it boil until you get a pasty cream. Wait to cool and apply the mixture on the external hemorrhoids several times daily.

Common Melilot

It can be used internally, as a common melilot infusion, or externally, as showers for the affected area. The common melilot reduces inflammation, hemorrhoid pain, and bleeding.

Infusion: put 4 teaspoons of herb 8 hours in 250 ml water and then strain; add 250 ml of water to the resulting liquid and boil for several minutes.

Chestnut Flour

Dried chestnuts are ground (do not remove the peels) and then grind with an electric coffee machine and sieved to obtain a very fine powder.

Take 3-4 teaspoons of chestnut flour before the main meals, every day, for a month. Hold the powder under the tongue for 5-10 minutes before swallowing.

Prevention

To stay away from this condition, it is recommended to have a diet rich in fiber, hydrate enough, and do your exercise. Food rich in fiber helps avoid constipation and, hence, problems with hemorrhoids.

Include in your daily menu more vegetables, fruits, beans, and whole grains, drink 8 glasses of water every, and you should have no problems with this condition.

Besides a proper diet, it is recommended to exercise as much as you can (more walking, running, and less cycling to avoid sitting more than an hour without a break). Also, people working in the office should keep their feet slightly elevated.

Also, note that the toilet paper used should not contain perfume and should not be colored, as such substances can be irritating.
