Vaginal yeast infection, also known as vaginal candidiasis, is an infection resulting from the overgrowth of yeast. At least 75 percent of women will experience this condition at one point in their lives.

Symptoms

The main symptoms of vaginal candidiasis include – but burning, itching, and pain during intercourse and urination.
